Bio and Experience

Hello. My name is Cecilia Gonzalez. I completed the Certification for Image Consultant (CIC) program at the Fashion Stylist Institute (FSI) based out of San Francisco, CA. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and have completed Project Management and Supply Chain Certification Program. With this accomplishment, my simple idea to help other women, grew to a strong passion. I would like to encourage you to keep an open mind and join me in exploring new possibilities, having fun, and making our lives just a bit easier so we can focus on the real important stuff!

Dear Ms. Gilian Armour, I came across the Fashion Style Institute (FSI) while searching for a reputable school in the area that can provide detailed training on Image Consulting specifically. I am thankful that I found FSI because it did provide so much information about the Image Styling, and of course, fashion. But I was most surprised on the level of detail and knowledge the course provided. Most of us common people have no clue on what “really” looks on us. We follow what’s on trend and who the media says we should admire and emulate, which in the process, we neglect who we are and what we really want. Just because orange is the new black, that doesn’t mean we look good wearing it! It could actually have the opposite and adverse effect. Taking class taught me to be more contentious of what, how, why I wear certain items of clothing, and when I should be wearing such an outfit. It makes me feel more in control now that I have knowledge of the technical aspects of fashion. I hope to be able to share and teach others as well.
