Personal Statement:

I feel that the need of a Personal Image Stylist in my age group category is needed out there. it is not the end of the world. It could be a new beginning if we allow it to be so. We have opportunities, choices, and access to options that our ancestors did not have. Let us get together and used them to our advantage and age gracefully inside/out. Some of us develop self-esteem issues because of body and mental health changes we face as a we age. As a Virtual Licensed Professional Counselor and Virtual Personal Image Stylist, I work with NOT less than 55-years-old women who need the convenience of on-line services to age gracefully inside-out. Together you can overcome self-esteem age related issues by maintaining fashion and style. I am Bilingual Spanish/English.

Dear Ms. Gillian Armour Being laid off from my job due to COVID-19, I wanted to do something that was going to make me feel not bad because of being locked in the house. I am over 60 so I am close to that high age risk group for COVID19. Instead of sitting home feeling sorry for myself I started brainstorming on what I was really would like to do while I was on quarantine. I always liked fashion and it was the first thing that popped up to my mind. I started looking for my notes from previous class years ago. But not only that, the extra module to set up your business or guidance to look for a job in any way possible is exceptional, it shows how much you care for your students. Also, I noticed your teaching style targets every learning style., it shows that you know that not everybody learns the same way and I did like that. I notice repetition, opportunity to retake the exams, visual and auditory teaching techniques which help me so much to understand the course material so well. At my age that is unbelievably valuable. Sometimes I submitted my assignments especially the essays not to sure if it was right worded since English is a second language to me. It felt good that I just did not received a grade, you, and your staff comments were very encouraging. I kept telling myself, “Hey, you are not too old to learn about fashion. It is OK”. Now I am even ready to create my own website with all the information and coaching of the step by step tutorial on website setup you provided, it makes it so easy. Thank you very much for such a good program to become a Certified Image consultant and for providing all the tools to succeed as a Certified Image consultant.
