Bio and Experience

My name is Mahwish Baber. I am 28 years old. I have graduated in Cosmetic Techniques and Management from Sheridan College, Toronto, ON, memeber of CNOMA (Canadian Network of Makeup Artists). I am currently residing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I work as a free-lance makeup consultant and I am also an academic coordinator at a University for an EFL program. My background and experience over the years has provided me a strong reason to pursue image consultancy as a full time profession. I have lived in Toronto, Pakistan and now in Saudi Arabia. At college, I had the opportunity to work for several fashion shows, attended several seminars and workshops. I started my career working for American greetings, I then did my internship with MAC, The Hudson's Bay Company and also worked for Clinique Cosmetics. After moving to Pakistan, I had the opportunity to work with high end salons, where I conducted self grooming classes. In addition to that, I have also conducted surveys/feedback for cosmetic and personal care product companies such as Unilever. I have a passion for travelling and this passion has taken me to more than 50 countries in the world providing a valuable learning from culture and social perspective.. My background experience, interaction with different cultures throughout the years has guided me to go in the direction of image consultancy. I have a makeup studio but will be soon launching an image consultancy agency in Saudi Arabia which will be a pioneer in this field of study.
