Bio and Experience

Marlena obtained her Master’s of Fine Arts degree in Fashion from the Academy of Art University located in San Francisco, California. She is also graduate of the Gillian Armour Fashion Stylist Institute, where she studied color analysis and wardrobe styling. Marlena has more than a decade of experience in the fashion retail industry working as a sales associate, retail manager, visual merchandiser and is the proud proprietor of Beyond The Moment Boutique. In addition to retail, Marlena has worked as a talent scout, retail buying consultant, and fashion business consultant for several designers and boutiques. Being a great listener is one of her many assets that will come in handy during your makeover process as she patiently guides you through wardrobe planning for casual, business or special occasions. "I like to hear what my clients love about themselves and if it doesn't translate on the outside then I teach them how to marry the two."
