Paulo Canivel is the Co-founder and CEO of Felipe and Sons (www.felipeandsons.com), the Philippine’s first "barberdashery" with a mission to #revivemanilaswagger. He conceptualized the brand to be rooted in Filipino culture and tradition, and evoke the Filipino gentleman's sense of obligation to do his country proud. Felipe and Sons is the country’s first men’s lifestyle brand that offers head to toe grooming and style by combining a barbershop and haberdashery under one roof. Having grown the business to multiple locations, Paulo has now focusing on providing Corporate Image solutions as a means of growing the value delivery system of the company.

As a male student looking to apply this to a male audience, I would have liked to see more male centric examples in the color analysis module as well. And perhaps some input on how as an Image consultant, we can inspire men to add more color into their wardrobe, given the natural aversion of men to looking too “flashy” or “dandy” in my experience. This was a wonderful experience for me and I would like to be kept abreast on the other offerings of the company as I fully intend to attend further courses in the future.
